* COVID-19 vaccine doses given in Cheshire West and Chester passes 100,000

Cheshire West and Chester has now passed a major landmark, with over 100,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine having been administered, and more than 5,000 people receiving their second dose of the vaccine.

* People aged 60-64 to start receiving vaccination letters

In the next week Cheshire residents aged 60-64 will receive a letter inviting them to come forward for a COVID-19 vaccination.

The quickest and easiest way to arrange an appointment is via the national booking service, which offers appointments at local NHS Vaccination Centres from 9am-11pm, seven days a week.

* 2021 Census – Sunday, 21 March 2021 

The next Census will take place on Sunday, 21 March 2021. The Office for National Statistics states: “After a year of living with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Census 2021 will be essential to our long-term understanding of the health, social and economic impacts on the people and households of England and Wales”

Census 2021 is a digital-first census and ONS are encouraging people to respond online if they can.
