‘Unprecedented Times’ – Your chance to shape the Council budget and services

Cheshire West and Chester Council has launched this year’s budget consultation, called ‘Unprecedented Times’, and seeks views from Town and Parish Councils on the Council’s budget proposals for the next four years.

The proposals are all presented within a financial context that requires the Council to save approximately £89 million over the next four years. In these unprecedented times, your views are vital to help ensure the Council sets a balanced budget that reflects the priorities of our residents and partners.

There are lots of ways you can get involved:

  • See the dedicated website cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/councilbudget for further details of how to take part. Here you can fill in a survey, post thoughts on online ideas boards, and submit questions for our interactive online question time event in mid-November
  • Take part through social media – tweet @Go_CheshireWest using #cwacbudget

You can also email CWaC with views or request copies of the consultation booklet and questionnaire in alternative formats (including hardcopy) via councilbudget@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk

This consultation exercise will be open until 3 December 2020.
